Natural products have applications across pharmaceutical research and development as potential candidates for therapeutic use in treating a number of different diseases. They are also used as active ingredients in cosmetic, skin-care and nutritional products.

The complex structures of many of these materials means that the custom synthesis of natural products is often very challenging or impossible, and extraction is the best approach to obtain them. FB Pharmtech has the ability to extract natural ingredients from plant and biomass material before isolating, extracting and purifying to obtain pure materials that can then be used in pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing applications, as well as in cosmetic, skincare and nutritional products. Custom synthesis of natural products is also possible where the structure of the target allows. We assess each target on a case-by case basis to decide which approach is most suitable.
